The Year is Complete!

Please feel free to look back through the 365 days of 2010 sunrises, but "a year of getting up to meet the day" is officially completed. There will be no more new posts.

Thank you so much for visiting.
A one year blog project in which I share a process of transitions: emptying of the nest, reacquainting with my rusty intellect, plowing onward with my first full length book, entering the second half of my first century, and generally reflecting on life.

dawn - a good time for shedding worries

sunrise: 5:30

Today was a good day for me to finally see the sun rise (about 23 minutes after official sunrise). Maybe it’s fatigue, or my sore muscles that are unaccustomed to the heavy use they’re seeing, or the weight of more thunderstorms moving in, or my habit of over-internalizing the small discontents of all the people I love – of whom there are an abundance here! – but for some reason yesterday left me filled with angst.

Dawn is a good time to shed preoccupations and worry.

I’ll let today’s pictures speak for themselves.
