beauty around us

Another lovely morning.  One of those days when I wish for an IMAX camera that could capture the whole sky in one glorious frame.


Three kids arrived last night - A, N, and R - A's boyfriend.  Three grandparents arrive today.  Full house, full heart, busy brain, acrobatic emotions.  Big weekend.


I'll just let today's backyard ramble speak for me today.


(Here is Kate after chasing sticks through the seed-strewing grass.  If I could just get her to lie still in the sun long enough, she'd end up looking like a chia pet)
