There are times in life when the mind is abuzz with thoughts and ideas. They are like a flurry of autumn leaves swirling around in your head, so many that you can hardly catch hold of any one of them.
Then there are other times when the mind seems to be at rest. It skims along at the surface of a still pond, effortlessly, living in the moment without delving beneath the surface.
