cloudy thoughts

Today is a good day to set your sights high.



Some of the cloud scenes reminded me of El Greco paintings.  I felt as though I should be seeing cupids and heavenly warriors in the foreground.  Humbling to think of the time it took El Greco to reproduce these beautiful celestial scenes, and all I have to do is click a button.  Surely I am missing something, a connection to my subject, that is far deeper than he achieved.

    These photos show why I was never among those who got depressed about a cloudy day. A cloudy sky has so much to show us, if we just open our eyes, and let it enter our awareness.

    a TH reader, nostalgic for the landscape but not the politics of NE.
